Dunnet Bay Distillers (Rock Rose Gin)
Set up by husband and wife team Martin and Claire Murray in August 2014, Dunnet Bay Distillery and its visitor centre is located on the spectacular Dunnet Bay in the far north of Scotland. The couple are passionate about handcrafting spirits that celebrate the heritage and provenance of their home county of Caithness and pride themselves on using local hand-foraged botanicals alongside exotic botanicals from around the world.
This was the inspiration behind Rock Rose Gin – the distillery’s main product. The gin uses Rhodiola rosea, which provides a lovely earthy, Turkish delight flavour to build the unique taste profile. Rock Rose Gin has received excellent reviews and numerous taste, business and design awards, with the distillery adding seasonal editions as well as Navy Strength and a Sloe Gin to the product range.
Today, Dunnet Bay Distillery has expanded from having just 2 staff members to employing 16 members of the local community and exporting gin to over 15 international markets. An amazing achievement for a small distillery at the northern tip of Scotland.

Rock Rose Gin Original Edition
Rock Rose gin Original Edition gets its wonderful flavour from a carefully selected and put together creation of local and traditional botanicals. Each one meticulously chosen for their flavour properties to create the perfect taste.
Holy Grass Vodka
Found on the banks of the Thurso River, Holy Grass gives this vodka a wonderful, unique taste. Delicate and fresh vodka with a creamy smooth finish. A celebration of local produce and ingredients, the spirit is also infused with a carefully crafted vapour of Highland apples and apple juice, to complement the sweetness of the Holy Grass.
